Apocalypse

Played a game of Epic Apocalypse the other day. I was interested in the system before, but after really playing, I'm sold for sure.

Ethmongul and I each brought out 140-some Power Level of Orks vs Ultramarines and Eldar. Two full turns in about as many hours and neither side felt good about our chances. I like how max-sized squads don't just get pulled right away. It's a super brutal game if you are not careful with your orders. Lots of tactical decisions to consider.

Big Game 2019

A little bit different Big Game this year. In fact it was more like several small games throughout a whole weekend. For me, the main event was a whole day's worth of Necromunda, culminating in the Pit Fight above. But more on that at the end of this post.
